Flares OFX System Requirements

Flares OFX is a GPU-accelerated plugin built for professional compositing environments. It requires an NVIDIA GPU and modern OpenGL support to achieve real-time performance.

NVIDIA GPUs only

Flares OFX requires a dedicated NVIDIA GPU with CUDA support. AMD and integrated GPUs are not supported.

Minimum System Requirements

Operating System

  • Windows 10 or newer (64-bit)
  • Linux Rocky 8/9 (Nuke only)
  • macOS is not supported

Linux support is limited to Nuke. Fusion and Resolve are not supported on Linux.

CPU & Memory

  • 64-bit Intel or AMD CPU
  • Quad-core CPU or higher recommended
  • 16 GB RAM recommended
  • 8 GB RAM minimum

Graphics Card (GPU)

  • NVIDIA GPU with CUDA support
  • Compute Capability 5.0 or higher (most GPUs from 2014+)
  • Minimum: 4 GB VRAM
  • Recommended: 6–12 GB VRAM

Graphics Drivers

  • Latest NVIDIA Studio or Game Ready drivers
  • OpenGL 3.3 or higher required

Integrated GPUs and AMD GPUs are not supported. Ensure your operating system uses the dedicated NVIDIA GPU for the plugin.

Rendering continues to work after a license expires; only UI editing is restricted.
